BrEx is designed for healthcare providers — including oncologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinicians — who work with breast cancer survivors. It is intended to be used during a clinical visit, not independently by patients.

BrEx uses a validated microsimulation model to estimate all-cause survival benefits at different levels of physical activity. The estimates are personalized based on the patient's breast cancer history, treatment, and current exercise behavior.

BrEx is currently in a research and usability testing phase. It is not yet approved or intended for direct clinical use. Results generated by the tool should not be used to make treatment decisions at this time.

No. BrEx does not store any patient data. All information entered into the tool exists only for the duration of the session and is not saved, transmitted, or associated with any individual. See our Privacy page for more details.
