BrEx is a decision support tool for healthcare providers working with breast cancer survivors. It uses a validated simulation model to estimate the survival benefits of physical activity, personalized to each patient's cancer history and exercise level. The tool guides you through a brief clinical workflow and produces a discussion guide, patient handout, and documentation for the visit.
Patient 1 is a woman aged 65 to 69 with a healthy BMI, Stage II breast cancer, HR+/HER2− status, and is on hormone therapy only. She is insufficiently active and would like to exercise two to three times a week at low to moderate intensity, preferring walking and swimming at home or outdoors. She has no concerns about exercise and no budget for it.
